What happens when...

you let your almost seven year old son read your Calvin & Hobbes comics?

He finds a nifty new insult that apparently tickles his funny bone, so he writes it down to take to school with him.

(Are your maladjusted social tendencies
the product of your berserk pituitary gland?)

(I'm glad that my son is tall for his age, and very quick on his feet...)

He's like a kind of smart-mouthed Boy Scout, his motto being: 'Be prepared...with a good insult.'

That's a pretty funny kid!

The funniest part is listening to him repeat these phrases over and over to himself in his room so he remembers them, and he's laughing like a hyena the entire time!
